Things you say, gone in a day

Estaba pensando en qué poner en mi perfil y me he dado cuenta de que mi gusto cinematográfico es mucho menos refinado que mi gusto musical y literario. O dicho de otro modo, soy mucho menos elitista en cuanto a cine se refiere que para los otros dos géneros.

Eso no quiere decir que no disfrute con el cine independiente, sino que tanto me pueden gustar Rushmore como Matrix, por poner un ejemplo. Y lo que es más importante, al admitir esto no me siento tan mal ni mucho menos como al afirmar que hay algunas canciones en el segundo de Coldplay que me gustan.

Eso sí, no pienso colgar ninguna canción de la BSO de Matrix.

I was thinking about what to include in my profile when it came down on me that my taste in films is less refined than my literary and musical tastes. To put in another way, I’m not an elitist when it comes to cinema.

That doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy indie movies, it’s just that I like Rushmore and Matrix practically the same. And what’s more important, I don’t feel bad admitting that.

But no, I won’t upload any song from the Matrix soundtrack.
